As a service to the dairy farmer, Alfagreen Supreme provides Supreme Dairy Bales, sliced, compressed bales of Alfalfa hay produced by our growers in central and western Kansas. The bales are 45”X60”X30” and weigh 1300-1500 lbs.

The hay is inspected at our processing facility in Stafford, Kansas for leaf retention, forage quality and consistent RFQ. As the alfalfa is processed, the fiber is sliced to a uniform length of 4”-6”, which is easily chewed by dairy cows, assuring good rumen fermentation. The bales are compressed and bound with #11 gauge wire to maintain the bale through transport. Alfagreen Supreme can arrange for shipment via rail car to local distribution centers around the country.

At the dairy farm, Supreme Dairy bales are easily dispensed into a TMR mixer wagon to be mixed with other elements of the daily feed ration. In the mixer, the four-to-six inch fiber length makes the bale crumbles easily, assuring good mixing with nutrients.
